UPDATE: I knew the answer, I was just curious who might know. Everyone said Asimov. Yes. Correct. But it’s worth pointing out The Positronic Man was co-written by Asimov and Robert Silverberg. Silverberg’s one of my favorites so I’m sad he gets overlooked. Anyway. As you were.
