I’m a grown man. I’ve put away childish things. Oodles of childish things. Tossed ‘em out, donated ‘em, sold ‘em. But I will never, ever part with my box of ’90s-era Lucasarts graphic adventure games. Ever.

People who have had the misfortune to drive somewhere with me can attest that Monkey Island tracks (some only in MIDI) come up on my iPod. I say “misfortune” because instead of being embarrassed and skipping the track, I will make people listen, explaining what happens in the game at that point and go into a lengthy appreciation of how good the music is. It’s true.

“Yowza! That was one good-lookin’ tentacle!”
It makes me happy that I live in a world where this exists, and that it’s sold out.

*Spelling it “horray” is my new thing.
